We’re working with the best partners in the industry to make sure that we remain true to our beloved characters and storylines.Ī brand new story was crafted by the cast of Critical Role and scripted by our good friend and mega-talented TV writer, Jennifer Muro ( Star Wars: Forces of Destiny, Spider-Man, Justice League: Action). We have built a powerhouse team to help us bring The Legend of Vox Machina to life. Ideally, we’d love to make an entire animated series, and this is the very first step towards making the cartoon magic a reality. If we happen to raise additional funds, we’ll unlock some cool stretch goals (and, the best part: more animation minutes!). In this brand new story, Vox Machina - our favorite group of adventurers in Tal’Dorei - are right around level 7 (so, before the live stream but after our comic book series, Vox Machina Origins, which tells the earliest stories of Vox Machina). Our $750,000 goal will allow us to make a 22-minute animated special, which will detail events that took place before we started streaming our home game.
